At Rosebuds and Pearls we are living breathing advocates of the brand and have a few handy tried and tested tips to enable you to get the best experience from wearing, washing and ironing your Rosebud item.
Washing
Your Rosebuds and Pearls items all come with aftercare instructions. However should you misplace the care card here are some handy tips.
We highly recommend that you follow these directions to ensure longevity and best maintenance of your items.
Be sure to turn the garment inside out before washing on a 40-degree cycle. We do not advise the use of any bleaches or stain removals as this may impair the vinyl and make your items less vibrant. We also advise against the use of tumble dryers as this may decrease the longevity of your printed items.
Ironing
Don’t be alarmed if sometimes the vinyl can look a little wrinkled after washing. This is completely normal and is a result of the vinyl printing technique adopted. Vinyl is a stable material and your garment is stretchy which is what causes the wrinkling
We recommend placing your iron on the cotton setting and covering the vinyl design with a piece of greaseproof paper or thin tea towel before you start. You can now position the iron plate directly over the design and glide the iron across the garment.
The wrinkles should disappear and your Rosebuds and Pearls products will look as good as new!
